Featured Tour - Harley-Davidson
When Bill Harley and the two Davidson brothers motorized a bicycle in 1903,
they likely never imagined that their creation would become an American icon.
But nearly 100 years later, the Harley-Davidson motorcycle is a legend, with
thousands of enthusiastic fans worldwide.
Your tour of the Harley factory begins with a trip through the Motorcycle Museum,
where nearly 100 years of Harleys are on display. You'll also get a look at
pictures of some of the many famous Harley owners alongside their bikes!
Then, it's off to the factory floor, where you'll wind past many of the stages
of motorcycle assembly. Giant presses transform metal into fenders, gas tanks,
and tailpipes. As the frame is assembled, it travels by conveyer belt to stations
where workers attach parts, until the motorcycle is nearly complete.
At this point in the tour, you'll watch as the nearly-completed Harley is placed
on rollers and test-driven at speeds up to 75 miles per hour. Finally, your
tour ends as you get a chance to sit on one of the very newest Harley-Davidson
Motorcycles.
